Cell formatting in Microsoft Excel?

Specs: Windows XP
Hi guys

I want to format a column in excel so that whenever I type anything, it should automatically ad a "mm" at the end of it, so if I type in 600, it should automatically change it to 600mm. Much like the currency thing, but with custom letters at the back?

Any ideas?

You can't use just "mm" it is reserved by Excel for Dates & Time,

You need to precede them with a back slash character,
A Custom Format of

000000\M\M

Should give you any 1-6 digit number and append the letters MM after it.

You enter: 123456
You get: 123456MM
