Can't see active cell in colored cells

Microsoft Excel 2010

Specs: Windows 7
Does anyone know why I can't see the active cell outline when it's in a "colored" cell? If it's next to a non-filled cell, I can see the edge of the "border" of the active cell, but the rest of it looks as though it's hidden behind the color of the colored cell. Why is this and can it be fixed so that I can see the outline of the entire active cell when it's in a colored cell? Thanks. FYI, I'm using Windows7 and Excel 2010.

I only have that problem when the cell is using the Grey in the lower left corner of the Fill color pallet. (VBA Interior.ColorIndex = 16)

Since there's 55 other colors to choose from, I don't worry about it.

Does it happen with all colors for you?

Hey Derbydad.....that was exactly the problem. I switched the color and it was all good. Thanks for the info. ;-)
