Solved cannot create new message in outlook 2010

Specs: Windows 7
reply and forward are ok. there is no new mail icon on the screen. no problem with incoming mail. i can reply and forward all mail.. thanks

What happens if you press Ctrl-n?

P.S. the "New" section of icons (New E-mail and New Items) can be removed from the Home tab via Customize The Ribbon feature. Perhaps that was accidentally done?

My Outlook doesn't look like that because I don't want it to.

coco, can you see the ribbon across the top of the screen? Do you see the File - Home - Send Receive options on the toolbar?
