Blue screen in Power point 2007

powerpoint 2007 blue screens

When client tries to edit a 10MB power point presentation it bluescreens.

I have run a HDD and Memory diagnostic check passed all tests.

Same file on 3 different computers 1 bluescreens, 1 works fine and 1 freezes.
First 2 pc are the same model and all 3 have the same version of office.

I have tried to replicate the blue screen error but i have been unable too.
I have determined the fault to be with the file. but it is odd that 1 of the users dont have any issues.
why would this be happening?

Most probably the file is either corrupt or virus infected.......try scanning it (and your computer too with a good anti virus) if there are no viruses then most probably the file is corrupt because I use open presentations greater than 30-40MB all the time...

Thanks - In the end it ended up repairing the presentation and what was causing the BSOD was a corrupt printer driver.

The odd thing now is that another user is having issues with her powerpoint but its now crashing with all presentations.

The presentations used all are large, media filled presentations.

I think the best thing i can do is reinstall powerpoint and see how it goes.

Any suggestions?
