Hi,

I tried to create a rule to automatically forward emails received in SHARED mailbox with specific subject to individual, but I can't seem to get it to work on the shared mailbox (the rule is applying to my own personal inbox instead). How do I change the settings for the rule to apply to the shared mailbox? Can anyone please assist, I'm using outlook 2007.

Thank you

What are the criteria for the rule?

Criteria: Emails received with Subject as "DAILY ACCOUNT HISTORY REPORT" to be auto forwarded to a person.

Thanks

So if an email is sent to your account with that particular subject, the email is forwarded. If, however, the email is sent to the shared account (which you're accessing through your Outlook client on your PC,) the email is not forwarded? Is that correct?

Yes, if the email is sent to the shared account (Generic Mail box) the email is not forwarded

I would change the criteria for the rule to "through specified account" and specify the shared account Keep in mind, if you want all of the emails to be forwarded and you have the shared account open on more than one computer, you'll have to set the rule up on each computer. (Assuming you're removing the mail from the server.)
