Also unintentionally deleted my custom dictionary

Specs: Windows 10
Deb25 March 2017 issue of deleted Custom.dic in MS Office does not appear to have been resolved..
I also have the same issue and have tried all solutions I could find on the Internet including fresh Office install - no such luck.
Has anyone in the Community a solution?
Ian

What version of Office are you running? Also, since you seem to be referring to a specific individual in a newly created thread, there's no guarantee that person will see the post.

If you'd like to contact someone directly, you should use the Private Message Feature.

Hi Jennifer, thanks for the quick reply. And, for the advice on the Private Message Function - very new to this Forum.

Currently running Office 2016 under Windows 10 (latest update).

There's another post here: https://www.computing.net/answers/o... that references Smart Lookup. Perhaps that may help.

Hi Jennifer,
Sorry for the silence but semi-retired and not always at the PC.
Have tried the smart look up but not successful, sadly.
The WSU Look Up mentioned Hidden Files. The files were visible but still do not show up in the Custom Dictionaries - Dictionary List GUI!!!
I have done a complete MS Office 2016 re-install, restart after uninstall, but to no avail.
Suspect there may be a registry correction but not that familiar.
Any further advice would be gratefully appreciated.
Aye, Ian
