Aligning Numbers in A Column

I am trying to align numbers in a column so that all of them are centered. All the numbers are automatically and correctly put into their respective cells by an IF statement and all the numbers are formatted the same way. I highlighted the appropriate column and clicked the "center icon" on the toolbar. Some numbers are centered and others are not eventhough the "center icon" on the toolbar is highlighted for each individual cell.

Thank you.

Have you tried un-centering the column and then re-centering the column?

When you say they are not centered, what are they? Left justified or right justified?

are there spaces after the number that is causing them to shift to the left slightly?

I first checked to see if there were any additional spaces after the numbers that would cause then to shift off-center but couldn't find any.

I then uncentered and then recentered the column but that didn't make any difference.

The numbers that are not centered are not flush right or flush left but off-center either to the right or to the left.

Thank you.

I rewrote the IF statements and that solved the problem. It seems that, in some instances, I had used "" and others " ". When I changed them all to "", the numbers were centered.

Thanks to all who offered suggestions.
