I’m using Adobe Acrobat X and recently I noticed that I can’t delete the text using the backspace key as normal. A red strikethrough line crosses out the letter(s) instead of taking them out. Can anyone help, please? Pete

Thanks for taking the trouble to respond to my posting, Mike. I've looked at the link and tried a couple of suggestions by 'Dimitri' but sadly nothing worked. No doubt I've unchecked or checked something without realizing it. It's a nuisance though. I've tried Support but nothing they suggested seemed to work, either. They were clear about enabling strikethrough but not disabling it if it suddenly appeared. Thanks again for your comments. - Pete
