Adding Accounts to Outlook

Specs: Windows 10
As part of Office 365, Outlook is working fine on our PC. Imap is enabled at the gmail server and the two email accounts we use are accessed ok.

But our laptop has lost its connection with the server. I've done a full delete and clean install of Office, and deleted the two email accounts from the laptop.

I can't add either of these accounts back again because there is "a problem connecting with the server". But all settings are identical to our PC which is fine.

Help!!!! I can't think of anything else. The rest of Office works ok on the laptop, and Word is synching normally with the Microsoft server.

The Microsoft pages' recommendations don't work. Nor does turning off Firewalls etc.
