How do I add 8 minutes to each cell going do

this is what I want to do

7:45am

7:53am

8:01am

etc.

Highlight the colum, right click and choose Format Cells. Select the Time format. Type 7:45 am in the first cell (with a space between the number and am). Type 7:53 am in the second cell. Put your cursor in the first cell, left mouse click and drag the cursor to the second cell. Release the mouse button and there should now be a box around both cells with a little square in the lower right hand corner of the box. Put your cursor over that little box and the cursor will become a + sign. Hold down the mouse and drag it down as far as you want. It will automatically add the times.

With 7:45 in A1, put this in A2 and drag it down: =A1+(8/1440)

Each day in Excel is equivalent to 1. Since there are 24 hours in a day and 60 minutes in an hour, there are 1440 minutes in a day.

8/1440 is equivalent to 8 minutes in Excel.
