Specs: Windows Vista

Ihave just restored my hp g6000 to manufactutes spec but my wireless wan't work just get the message windows cannot detect a network & my red light is on my wireless switch .
Any ideas really stuck
help me please

You would;
enable your wireless interface
configure it with the proper settings like logon credencials, encryption key, etc

When you say you can't get into the wireless settings are you talking on the hp or the router?

If wireless is builtin you would go to the bios and make sure it is enabled.
Then you would check device manager in Vista to see the driver is installed [exclaimation point next to the device if not]
You would then go into network connections and confirm tcp/ip is installed and configured, that MS client for networks is installed
Then you would configure the wireless card settings.
