Hi! I am asking about using Wireshark to sniff packets from virtual adapters. In my setup there are three computers A, B and C which are all connected to a switch
A and B are installed with an application that creates a virtual adapter which they will use to communicate. C is installed with wireshark and connected to a mirror port (but does not have the application installed)
When I ping A from B using their physical IPs, I can see the packets in C (the physical interface was the only option for me to select)
But if I were to ping A from B using the virtual IP addresses, wireshark could not capture anything in C.
Is there any configuration which I need to set?
