Wireless Switch?

Don't know / Wireless switch

Specs: Windows Vista
Has anyone heard of home wireless switch and know where they can be purchased? I have a WII far away from a wireless router. I just bought a network adapter for the WII but have no way of easily connecting it to the wireless router. I was thinking a small wireless switch connected to the wireless router would solve the problem. Am I missing an easier solution? Thanks in advance.

There is no such thing as a wireless switch. What you need is a wireless repeater or wireless range extender. Different names for the same thing.

Thanks for the response. My question above wasn't clear. The internet adapter for the WII isn't wireless. So it would ordinarily plug in to the router with CAT5. I can't wire easily the spot where the WII is located. Do the range extenders have additional ports for ethernet cables? Without looking much, I don't believe I've seen one with additional ports. Thanks again.

Another wireless router that supports bridging mode will do it. Position the router within range of the existing router then you can run a cable to the computer.

Thanks. I think you've saved me hours in the attic and cutting through walls.
