Two dell laptops (D600), one connects to the wirless network Belkin N Class, the other displays Limted or no connectivity. Checking the IP address its 169.254.249.216, totally wrong, should be a 192.168! Spud
169.254.249.216 is a default IP address allocated by Windows when it cannot find a DHCP server. This means that you are not actually communicating with the wireless router. With this in mind check your configuration and that you are actually communicating the wireless router.

Stuart - I have full strength via the adapter to the router, displays all information. On ipconfig i have dhcp enabled. How do I tell if I am communicating to the router? Thanks for looking and responding
