Wired VPN and wireless for local network?

Netgear Wgr614 wireless router

Specs: Windows XP SP3
Is it possible to use my laptop's wired connection to
connect to the office VPN and also use my wireless
connection at the same time to utilize the printers and
peripherals on my network at home? What changes
would I have to make to my settings? Now, I can't
print documents I've opened on the VPN. USB printer
connections are not my preferred solution. The Novell
VPN software alters the IP of my computer, and takes
it off the my home network. Thanks

That's called split tunneling. The VPN blocks it to maintain security.
