Is it possible to network an older windows95 machine to either a lap top running vista or tablet running windows 10?

What kind of networking are you looking for.
SMB works with win 7 and below. haven't tried with win 10

The win-95 computer needs a network card of course; and to be connected to your lan. The Vista/win-10 systems likewise.

You set up a share of whatever on the appropriate computers; create an account on each computer to allow the others access over the lan.

Win-95 being somewhat basic in terms of networking there will likely be a few other minor tweaks to include too; enabling NetBui of tcp/ip as I recall.

The win-10 tablet will of course do it all via wifi; whereas non tablet systems can do it via ethernet (or wifi if they have a wifi card included too).
