Wifi on an old ibm running windows 98?

Specs: Windows 98, 64 MB RAM
I have an old ibm desktop running windows 98. It has a pci slot in it. Will a pci wifi card work with an older computer? It has no ethernet input, just dial up. So will a pci wifi card work or is there a different way (such as a simple usb wifi extender)?

Thanks!

Yes, if it has drivers for the operating system on the older PC. So, check to ensure you have, or can download, Windows 98 drivers for the PCI device you wish to plug into the computer. If you can't find 98 drivers, it won't work.

As to other devices, the same applies.

I am the captain of my soul.
