Specs: Windows Vista
I have bought a tp-link wi-fi adaptor for my pc. I want to use in my shed which is no more than 20yds away howver it will not reciece a strong enough signal from my router to work. It is fine as i sit here in the house showing 5 bars signal being no more than 2ft from the router but it is going to my shed and the signal just dissapears. I have 2 laptops and both worked in my shed which at the time was a good 30 yds away. I haviemoved it nearer to the house so expect it to work and no. I know the adaptor is ok but would be greatful for any suggestions to solve this problem.

Wifi Adapters vary.

Might be worth considering a "PowerLine Adapter" with sends the signal over the domestic power cables. You can get very good results but the downside is that it needs a short cable to it.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
