Solved Why won't remote desktop connect over a Home network?

Specs: Windows 7
I have a desktop and want to connect to a laptop over a Home network.

The laptop will connect to the desktop but, the desktop connection to the laptop fails.

All connections are enabled.

What edition of Windows 7 is on the laptop? Only Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise editions can act as a host for Remote Desktop. Remote assistance is not the same as Remote Desktop.

Thanks, I discovered that earlier this afternoon and it was an $89 fix to upgrade to Professional ! Never an end to the surprises.
