why is there slow net eventhough pc has no lag and malware?

December 27, 2018 at 10:37:49
Specs: Windows 10, 2.3gh and 2gb ram
whenever I play online games usually with brothers ,on different local websites such as Y8, my internet get very slower.
now i have checked and deleted browser unnecessary and extra 'history' ,extensions ,add ons and cookies but got no positive result .same slow speed.
Apart of it, i reset my entire pc and disable many unnecessary 'services'
What is going on and affecting whether bandwidth or anything.
Does playing online games cause this significant fall in internet speed.
Or may be internet service provider has any problem but why just after playing games.

What type of internet connection do you have?

Doing the best I can here... And remember, there's always more than one path to success. :)

Is there an actual drop off in internet connection speed or is your computer just struggling to keep up? You didn't state whether you have a desktop or laptop or what games you're attempting to play. And your specs - Windows 10, 2.3gh and 2gb ram - don't tell us much of anything other than your system needs more RAM. You also didn't tell us the make/model of the graphics card & a good graphics is necessary for decent game play. Lastly, when you say you "reset my entire pc", does that mean you completely wiped the HDD & then reinstalled Windows from scratch?

2gb ram and windows 10 sounds like poop, 2.3gh (pentium cpu, just guessing), playing soem game your hardware can't handle over poop wifi...

It's not going to get any better untill you start paying for your own stuff. Or am i miss-guessing your age by 5~7 years? (im guessing 13~14 right now)

for riider :
yes you are right ram is not enough .but the games are not such hardcore ,games include kof or street fighter on online pc ,thus there is no requirement for extraodinary specs of cpu.
and i have intel core i3 hd graphics chip type. so yeah, but the is question why my net speed is affected after long hours of online gaming on pc.
lastly , i have reset my windows . and wiped out all unnecessary applications from the pc.
is it due to malware or spyware it so then why my antivirus didn't alert me not even the defualt windows ''window defender security center'' showed me any sign .

"is it due to malware or spyware it so then why my antivirus didn't alert me not even the defualt windows ''window defender security center'' showed me any sign"

Just to make sure, we need to look in a different direction.

Step 1: Run AdwCleaner
Author's site
Close all open programs and internet browsers.
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Click Scan
In the results tabs, uncheck anything you don't want to remove.
Click on Cleaning.
Confirm each time with Ok.
Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
Please Copy & Paste the contents of that logfile with your next answer.
You also can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner [C1 or later].txt as well.

Step 2: Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware ( MBAM ) Use Threat Scan.
After the Free trial, I choose this.
You then get this screen.
Deactivate Malwarebytes for Windows Premium Trial
At the end of a scan, you will get something like this.
After clicking on > View Report & then > Export. Click 'Copy to Clipboard'
Paste the contents of the clipboard into your reply.

You still didn't provide details about your hardware or the games you're having problems with. Desktop or laptop? Make/model/model number? Specs - CPU, RAM, HDD, graphics, etc? With only 2GB RAM plus a portion of that RAM being used for graphics, it doesn't leave a heck of a lot for Win10 to work with. In other words, you should expect poor performance.

If you completely wiped the HDD & then installed Windows from scratch, are you also installing the latest device drivers or are you using the generic Windows drivers?

"the games are not such hardcore ,games include kof or street fighter on online pc"

KOF & Streetfighter have been around for a LONG time (well over 20 years). There have been numerous versions throughout the years & each has different system requirements. It would help to know exactly which ones you're trying to play.

I'm guessing a 2.3GHz Core i3 is a 2nd Gen mobile CPU so you're probably working with a 6 year old laptop (or thereabouts). An older laptop with too little RAM & weak Intel HD graphics running thru a 3Mbps internet connection is not going to play online games well.

With that little memory doubling it might help BUT not much with your very slow internet.
IF there is a chance you have faster LTE cell service AND an unlimited plan, you can probably make your cell phone into a Wifi hot spot and connect your computer through that. If you do not have Wifi built into your machine, you would need to install a card (desktop) or purchase a USB Wifi dongle to make the connection (either laptop or desktop).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
