Specs: Windows 10
ever since electricity went out one time, my wifi repeater does not work anymore. first everything was fine. but after the incident, the wifi did not work anymore when the repeater was plugged in. i tried to reset it but now it does not want to connect to my laptop with an ethernet cable connection. it simply gives the wired network symbol with the conventional yellow triangle with exclamation mark saying there is no connection.

I guess, the yellow triangle means, that there is no internet connection.
The connection to the repeater should still be there.

So you have to open your favorite internet browser, put the default ip address of the repeater into the address line and hit enter.

Then you have to configure the repeater from scratch.

It would be best to go through the installation/configuration routine you used to set it up first time.

Incidentally if you have your laptop close to your actual (main) router, does it connect OK via wifi?

And what make/model router do you have; and also the extender/repeater?
