Why can i copy from but not to network drive

Specs: Windows 7 32bit, Phenom II 965 with 4GB RAM
I have mapped my 25gb skydrive account as a network drive and set it to automatically reconnect at logoin/boot and to remember password. After new boot the drive always fails to reconnect but manually remapping and entering password details makes the network drive available again. I can can then play mp3 and video files on my WMP from the network drrive and i can copy files from networked skydrive to my pc using drag and drop and copy paste commands. The problem is that when i try copying files from my hard drive to the network drive, explorer will freeze for 20 seconds and file is not copied. Using teracopy also fails and then returns the error the "Target -parameter is incorrect" source crc C92CBC01.

I have a 1meg up and 10meg down connection. so bandwidth can't be a problem. I am using \\docs.live.net@SSL\my_skydrive_id\^2Documents to map the drive

The fact that i can copy from the networked drive but not from it baffles me

Any ideas? am using windows 7 32bit with 4gb RAM Phenom II 965 Black and Radeon 5850

Perhaps there was a momentary glitch in the system. After all you were able to write the data up there to now download. Sounds like you have readonly rights not write access. Do you have control over access rights?
