Solved wheres the wireless network on/off button

Specs: Linux
Does my emachine M 5312 HAVE A BUTTON TO TURN ON /OFF A WIRELESS NETWORK

If anybody knows this answer it would be greatly appreciated, tks

If it isn't obvious on the keyboard, then most likely there isn't a way to disable the internet via hardware, besides just disconnecting your ethernet cable if you are using a wired connection.

What version of Linux are you running? I'm sure there's a way to disable internet through the OS.

You could also just unplug your wireless router.

Why do you need to disconnect the Internet?

mmm If this is your laptop then it would appear it does not have a built-in wifi adapter…

So use wifi you will have to use a usb-plugin adapter…: several out there; and Belkin is just one that comes to mind.
