What to do about a glitchy Intel driver in my pc?

Specs: Windows 10, 4GB
I've been getting recurring notifications from "Windows Defender Security Center" that there's something glitchy about an Intel driver in my pc. A troubleshooter usually can guide me to fix the problem easily, after an automatic restart--but this doesn't always work. The Intel driver is identified as "Gigabit Network Connectioni #3". There do not seem to be any noticeable functionality issues with my pc (a Lenovo installed in 2011) whether or not this notification is showing.

I can supply a png image of the notifications generated by Windows Defender, but from what I can see here, computing.net no longer allows image attachments. They used to, I'm sure of that--but cannot see any place to add / include any "supporting evidence" in the form of an image or other attachment.

Since Defender is an anti-malware/anti-virus program, maybe your system is infected? I never saw an error message saying "driver is glitchy" plus "Gigabit Network Connectioni #3" is not a driver, so it would be helpful to post the exact error message.
