Solved What kind of speeds should i expect?

July 24, 2016 at 18:25:37
Specs: Windows 10
I have 100Mbps speed but i am only getting about 22Mbps. Wired connection i get more than 100Mbps but wireless it never goes above 22Mbps. Is this normal or is there something i can do to improve this speed? I have spoken to my ISP but they say everything is good on their end so they cannot fully help me.

✔ Best Answer
At best you could get 50Mbs on your wireless. Limiting factors are design/quality of router and wireless adapters, distance of wireless device from router, number of wireless devices connected and activity on the connected devices.

So is it worth it to try to find a solution to this or just accept this is the best i could get?
I have changed the channel of the router to what appears to be the best i could find but still no luck.

What is the model/brand of your router?
Perhaps this one could improve wireless performance, but is it worth the price....

Don't find much reviews about this modem-router. looks like a classic N-type wireless router. Is this modem part of your cable subscription?

Maybe the links posted by Johnw can be any help.
