Solved Wanting me to connect to a network

Specs: Windows 7
Toshiba L505. I have had this about 2 yrs now. Always worked great, started fine. One day I turned it on and a black screen came on and said something about:

Realtek PCI Express Fast Ethernet Controller Series v1.15
PXE-E61: Media Test Cable, Check Cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM
No bootable device -- insert boot disk, press any key

I am not connected to a network of any kind. I have since taken this HD out and installed a new one of the exact kind. ( WD 250g WD2500BEVT Scorpio Blue) and installed my OS on that one. I want to use the original hence it has a lot of important documents on it I need.

OK so you did work out you had a hard drive failure of some kind and replaced the hard drive.
Now you want to retrieve your important files & documents from the failed hard drive.

You can re-attach the old hard drive and try to check whether it can be seen in bios even if the master boot record has become corrupted. If you can confirm the drive is still seen by bios then it might be worth the cost of an external enclosure so you can then put your new drive back in the laptop and the old one in the USB enclosure to retrieve your files. If bios cannot see the old drive then retrieval of data may only be possible by a professional data recovery service.
