Want 2 lock comp. 2 b able to comm. w/ONLY 1 site, Carbonite

Specs: Windows XP
I have a Windows XP Pro laptop with a 1TB external drive I am using to hold all of my photos. After taking photos I download them to the external drive. I want to be able to back these up immediately to Carbonite without opening up the laptop to the whole Internet, thus making this laptop vulnerable. So, how do I setup this machine so that it only communicates to the Carbonite website AND *only* the Carbonite website communicates with it?

You can't communicate with just one website whilst excluding everything else on the internet. What you must do is install a top-notch third-party firewall like the one in Norton Internet Security which blocks anything which is potentially harmful.

Your laptop is only as vulnerable as you allow it to be. In other words, if you don't have a strong firewall installed it will get hacked into.
