Specs: Windows XP SP2
Hi, I'm having problem with annoying 721 error message when try to connect to VPN server.

I have 7 VPN connections on my Windows Xp SP2 that connect to approved 7 servers of my customers. All of them worked fine almost a year till now.
It seems to me that every one of them stop working after I installed "Fortinet client" to be able to connect to SSL VPN server (FortiGate) of my newly contracted customer.
Now I have fortinet ssl vpn client working fine for that customer but all other default windows vpn connections don't work anymore.
Can anyone help me?

I did 2nd tier support for a 5,000 PC corporation, eewwww, I'm
getting flashbacks from all the Cisco VPN issues they had. It
was always a constant battle to get VPN admins to respond
to issues. Sometimes the issues were on the VPN side,
sometimes the issues were on the Windows client side.

I searched the Fortinet KB, didn't find anything on error 721,
and I'm unfamiliar with their product, so my best advice,
others here may provide better advice, but you'd need to:

1. Contact Fortinet to open a ticket perhaps.

2. Last Tuesday 6-8-10 was MS Patch Tuesday. It could a
new MS patch causing issues as well.

Just another stupid saying...

Hi bivkovic and PC GEEK,

I am currently having exactly the problem you are describing above. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to actually find a solution to this issue either here or elsewhere (Fortinet/Fortigate Support).

Could you let me know how you actually fixed the issue you were having?

Thanks and regards,

Unfortunatelly, I found no solution to this issue and just did Windows restore to the point before Fortinet installation.
