Vaio WLAN switch broken-need help

Specs: Windows Vista
I have a sony vaio PCG-7141L that has a switch on the bottom left corner that turns on the WLAN. Yesterday the switch broke, and now I can't figure out how to connect to WLAN without using the swith. Anyone know if there is a key combination or somewhere else where I can turn it on without the swith?

usually a hardware switch overrides software. Perhaps the broken toggle can be moved using a paperclip

Are you talking about the little switch that enables your wireless capability on the laptop? If so, and if you can't fix it (e.g., per wanderer's suggestion), you may have to use an external wireless NIC. There are some pretty good USB NICs out there, by the way. (Hopefully, you can get your unit repaired.)
