using outlook within an organisation

Specs: Windows XP
Im trying to configure Ms Outlook 2003 to be used within our LAN and furthermore configure it to synchronize with webmails. Can someone give a brief run down on how to configure Ms Outlook for internal emailling?

you can't without an exchange server. best you can do without exchange is point everyone to your internet mail service provider.
