using a laptop as a wireless bridge

Specs: Windows 7
Hi, wondering if anyone has insight to my
situation: im moving into a house in which I
have wireless internet access from the landlord
upstairs, but no hardwired ethernet jacks to
plug into.

This is fine for my laptop obviously, but I also
have a router that I use to connect to my VOIP
phone. Is it possible to connect to the web
through my laptop's wireless card, and then
connect my router to the my laptop's ethernet
port as a 'link' that will supply the internet to
the router?

Or does anyone have any other suggestions
on how I can get my voip to work?

Thanks in advance

Can your router become a wireless bridge?

To be honest, I think you might have trouble getting your VoIP phone to work in this situation. Your best bet may be to get your own separate internet connection.
