Specs: Win 7, unknown
Its an ASUS Eee PC 1015 PEM I got off ebay. Other computers I have show a dozen or more wireless in the neighborhood an locally. The blue wireless indicator lamp is illuminated. I tried using the switch for wireless on/off and the Fn + F2 keys. No change on the indicator light. Another netbook I got used from ebay, Acer with win XP displays available wireless OK. I got to the ASUS support page for this machine and downloaded the manual. I see other downloads for different items...BIOS, etc available, but I wouldn't know if any of those would apply. Tanks, Jim

✔ Best Answer
Try installing all drivers from Asus web site for your machine and operating system.
Try restarting machine (simple but often overlooked).
If Wifi still does not work then purchase a USB/Wifi adapter, they are not expensive and will make a bad purchase (portable computer without a good Wifi) into a usable machine again.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

The USB gizmo seems least hassle. I ordered a couple from newegg. Thanks for the help.
