Does your modem have an Ethernet Port in addition to the USB? Most do so check the side for what looks like a phone jack but bigger. If you have one then get a router hook the WAN port into that jack and your computers into the usually 4, LAN ports. You may want to get some Ethernet cables too.

I have a feeling that it does have a ethernet port you're just not aware of it, UNLESS this is a dialup modem in which case you will not be able to do it because of speed problems. Send me the model and number printed on the front and I will Google it for you.

Ok, so this is a 3G Cellular Modem. If your laptop has a 802.11 WiFi built in then you could setup a AD HOC network through your WiFi using a Wireless bridge.

I have seen it done but most people are not satisfied with this because the main computer has to be on at all times and it is very slow.

I think you are in another country like England aren't you? If so you might want to look into WiMAX in your area. We can't have any such thing here in the U.S. because the cell phone companies bought up the FCC licenses to the 2.4 GHz Frequency. Yay for capitalism.
