Task manager issue

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, 2.212 GHz / 3838 MB
Dont know how much of an issue this is but in task manager i only see the max speed in the networking tab of 100 mb/s and not 1000 or gigabit as my card would indicate. I checked the properties of the card and it is set to auto negotiate speed. Tried to change it to 1000 mb/s- Full duplex and task manager still only showed 100 mb/s for the max rate. I am using gigabit rated cables and my router is capable of gigabit speeds also. I dont think that is the problem but I just need some help with this. Any help is appreciated, thank you

There is no max speed tab in Task Manager. Are you referring to the Link Speed tab?

Post nic model, cables and router for more followup.
