Solved Streaming BT Sport on Windows 7 PC to Samsung Smart TV

February 14, 2015 at 10:16:44
Specs: Windows 7, I-7 930 6GB
I have a computer (Win 7) and Samsung Smart TV 55" Series 8 (UAE5500). They are both connected to internet via Ethernet and I can watch recorded video, photos and music from the computer on the TV via Samsung link.
I have BT Sport on the computer but this will not load or run on the TV as it requires Silverlight.
I want to simply start BT Sport on the computer and mirror this onto the TV using the Ethernet connection.

Thanks Derek but not the answer.
I have installed Silverlight on the computer, hence my 'I have BT Sport on the computer' statement. It is the viewing BT Sport on the TV that I cannot do as you cannot install Silverlight onto a TV as far as I can tell.

OK, I get it now. Most likely Silverlight is just not supported on that TV. If so, short of just using the TV as a computer monitor I can't think of a way around it. However keep watching on here in case someone has some bright idea.
