Hi Everybody,

I have been having a connectivity issue when trying to watch the video on the home page and also when I am logged in and doing some stuff for my job. The connection times out and when I download something from the site it takes forever and most of the time the download doesn't finish.

I have contacted the technical support of the website, but they say that the problem is on my end. I have tried to reset my IP several times but the problem still persists.

All the other websites seems to be working fine and I even watch youtube videos with ease. I have an internet connection speed of up to 1mbps.

The pages itself ( loads with ease but when I am inside trying to do my thing for work it is very slow and it often times out.

I have also contacted my ISP about the issue and they say that they are looking into it.

Can anybody help me resolve this issue?

I really need help and it is affecting my work.

Thank you,

Streaming video and doing other things at the same time on a 1Mbps connection is always going to give you problems. You need more bandwidth.

I have a Quad Core computer and I have 4GB of memory. I watch youtube videos with ease even if I have plenty of applications running.

The speed when I download reaches only to a maximum of 8kb/sec. My maximum download speed is 105 kb/sec.

I am in the Philippines, but I have tried other locations and a friends house who only has a connection of 318kbps, but when he watches the video on the homepage of his speed is way higher and it doesn't time out (I am used my own laptop at a friends house)

I am only having an issue with that site at home. So far youtube, veoh videos and screencast videos and videos from our site all seem to load quickly.

I am at my wits end trying to figure this out.
