Sharing Drives using Registry

Hi,

does any one know how to share a hard drive or files

using registry values(regedit.exe)?

is it possible? if not pls advise someway

execpt the traditional one.

Just my two cents but......it seems like a whole lot more work (if it's even possible) to create shares through the registry. All the other methods listed above by wanderer and RTAdams89 would be a lot quicker and easier.
