Sharing a drive

Asus 1005ha-pu1x-bk netbook

Specs: Windows 7
Hello. I just bought a new Asus netbook that does not have a CD drive. It runs Windows 7 starter. I also have a Gateway laptop running Vista 64 and that computer does have a CD drive. I'd like to share the drive.

So I right clicked on the drive, went to sharing and enabled it. I allowed sharing, media sharing etc. On the new computer, I tried mapping the drive. I can see it, but it says access denied whenever I try to access it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Map as a user that has a password. On the map gui it ought to have a small area in the bottom to select a different user. You need the user on the vista not the current w7 user.
