Shared printer pb after adding router to PC

I am a teacher whose room is off to one side of campus w/o net access. The school is networked using Cisco Catalyst switches. IT support is useless and forbids anyone else attaching privately owned devices (including personal PCs) to the network. I finally found a router that can put out enough signal to reach my room from the cafeteria manager's office. (This is a skunks works operation w/ no support or authorization from IT) Worked like a charm until the manager told me they could no longer print from the POS terminals to the shared printer in her office. I am guessing that the cash registers were pointed to the IP address of the manager's PC which has a shared laser printer. When I inserted the router between her PC and the net access it apparently took over the IP address and made the PC a 192.x.x.x . How do I configure a router (Rosewill RNX-N4P5) to pass print requests from the POS terminals to the shared printer? I have NO access to any configuration on the terminals : -( Any help?

Basically, you are really stuck. If you are part of the faculty, they should be offering basic net access & printing support. That is not too much to ask in this day & age.

I would try to go over the manager's head, to wherever & whomever that would be. Your only other choice is to look for an opened network off campus & connect to it.

How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
