Yeah you will have to purchase a wireless router with USB port at it rear then you log in to the router by connecting a PC to a LAN/Ethernet port of the router through a LAN/Ethernet cable then open your PC browser and type the router Default IP address to the browser's URL and press enter a pop up comes up asking for username and password usually username: admin and password: admin, then configure the router Wi-fi, SSID:(Your choice name), wireless security: Password( To gain access to Wi-fi), type of network: DHCP(Auto). Remove LAN cable and connect USB internet modem to router rear, Then go to PC to access Wi-fi by searching for Wireless network around then your see your SSID name the click to connect and put password. The PC is connected.

Thanks.

You cannot connect a mobile internet dongle to a router since router's don't have a USB input port.

There are two types of mobile internet dongles:

The "standard" and most popular type plugs in to your laptop and can only be used on the laptop it's plugged in to - it cannot be shared across several computers at the same time.

The "sharing" type is a cross between a USB dongle and a wireless router, and network 3 refers to these as "mi-fi" dongles. That's the type you need if you want to use it on more than one computer. Some mobile networks cannot supply you with one of these, in which case you will have to try a different network provider.

You can share the internet via a laptop or pc by engaging Internet Connection sharing.

Depending on wifi dongle there are routers you can plug it into. For example if its a 3g dongle you can get a 3g router to connect it with.

for example
