set up read only permissions to a NAS

Asus Laptop with intel pentium processor...

Specs: Windows Vista, 4GB

I need to prevent a particular PC in my LAN to have write permission on a Goflex seagate network hard drive. I wonder how I can restrict the default read and write permissions that every pc in the LAN has to only read for those particular IPs that I choose in the LAN.
I knew how to do this with an external usb hard drive that was connected to any pc and shared in the LAN. However, I do not know now how to to the same thing but with a external hard drive like this
that is connected to the router.
Any idea is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge you can't restrict anything based on machine. You can only restrict based on user account.

It would be enough to restrict it with user account because I could always create two different user accounts. One for the PCs that have write and read permissions and a second one for the PCs that only have read permissions. However, how can I do this?
