Solved searching for ethernet dialer

Specs: n/a
The only outgoing connection available is a POTS line. Would be convenient to add a wireless laptop. Dial on demand modems used to exist, can these be adapted for wireless use. Or, is there a better alternative. DSL nor Broadband can be installed.

In your reply, are you aware of a working installation?

Thank You,

Google "dial up wireless modem" for a number of suggestions.

You want to check into dsl broadband which uses a pots line.

You can't use a 56K modem with wifi. That kind of access doesn't have enough bandwidth to support wifi with its overhead. It can't support most internet usage either and is only good for checking email anymore.
