Scans to network share disappear

Specs: Not applicable, Pentium D
I have a Buffalo LinkStation 220 with SMB and FTP running on my LAN.

I'm using a Brother MFC5920DW to scan documents to the server. They are connected through a router using DD-WRT. When I attempt to scan to the LinkStation, I do not get any error messages but the images do not appear in the assigned directory.

In the Brother firmware, the connections to the shares test okay. I can ping from the LinkStation to the Brother with no problem. The Brother can scan through the same router to my local PC and the images do appear there.

Scanning to the LinkStation worked fine before I switched to a DD-WRT router. Is there a router setting that could possibly be preventing the scans from being saved on the LinkStation? The problem persists whether I scan to FTP or SMB.

Does the folder exist, and do you have permision to scan to it. (Are you authenticating through LDAP for example)

I would check the account you are using, make sure the password is correct.
