Samsung blu ray BD5700 not saving router security code

January 6, 2012 at 11:23:45
Specs: Windows 7
Samsung blu ray BD5700 is not saving the security key to my cisco lynksys router model E1000 after blu ray is powered off. I have spoken with samsung and followed their reconfiguration instructions which did not help. They suggested something was wrong with my blu ray player. I returned the blu ray to the store and exchanged for the same model hoping it was a problem with that device but the new blu ray is doing the same thing. I spoke with cisco lynksys support but they won't help b/c my lynksys customer support has expired. All other wifi devices in my home have no problems connecting to my router.

I would suggest you contact the store you bought this from. Unit sounds defective

My problem was solved by installing an update to my router.
