Rush Limbaugh website subscriber username & password help

October 16, 2015 at 22:58:33
Specs: Windows Vista
One week ago I subscribed to Rush Limbaugh/24/7. I paid by credit card and received an email confirming my membership. Any and all attempts at providing a new username and password have been rejected, so I have missed one week of programs. I can't find a way to talk to a live human about this. I did get a computer generated email asking for my phone number so they can help me by phone. I have provided this at least 8 times.,.,.,.still no call. Getting frustrated.

My initial reaction to your post was that you had been conned/scammed... however

This is a link that may be useful (unless you've already tried it found it not helpful)

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/account...

Have you contacted your credit card company to confirm that a charge has been made against your account for the programme downloads? If it has advise rhem of the situation and ask them to help? Charging someone's account and not delivering the goods/service paid for via that charge is fraud (in any country).

You would need to first login with the username/password you signed up with. Then once logged in, you could change the password. I don't know about the username though. Some places you can, some you can't.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

"a new username and password"

Am I understanding this correctly - has it already worked and is the problem about trying to change them?

EDIT:
Or maybe "new" means "brand new" - not yet setup.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

If the user signed up directly at the Rush Limbaugh site, I highly doubt she got scammed. More likely it's user error. Here's what's stated at the website:

"You will receive a confirmation email from us momentarily with a special ONE TIME link to the Rush 24/7 NEW Member Log-in page so you can instantly activate your membership, or you can use the link that will be displayed on the confirmation page to be automatically sent to the Log-in page. After you log-in you will receive an email confirming your new member name and password. The link to Rush's digital download will appear in that email."

That;s the problem. I don't have a user name...that's why I cannot get online. I had a membership a few years ago, but it has since lapsed.

I'm sure everyone on here would like to help you, but only the website can issue a valid username and password. It is difficult to see how we are likely to be in any better position than you on this. You've paid good money so it seems you just have to keep on bashing them and hope they will submit. Unfortunately we have no special powers.

Maybe posting on here would help:

I appreciate your query is not the purpose of that forum but it might reach someone's attention if you keep pushing.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

one possible route... if you know where rhe show is actually recorded (or from where it's transmitted live) write to the man himself, care of that station/studio?

Presuming snail mail is passed onto ho him, he may well intervene/help if yo explain the situation and for his assistance?

Stuidios/stations where I've worked (both in UK an N. America) usually pass on mail...
