Specs: Windows XP
I can connect my pc directly to the modem, and it works, but through my netgear router, it does not work. Is there a sequencing that I need to. I have kept everything on, but unplugged my modem and restarted it. Any other suggestions?

clone the mac address of your pc to the router. In the setup interface there should be a clone mac button.

mac is the burned in ethernet address of your nic. The isp registered this unique number. Now the wan port of the router needs to spoof that number so the isp thinks its the pc.
