remote access point

Specs: Windows 7, 4gb
I have a dlink router connected to cable modem and computer. i supports wireless too. want to add a Linksys router/wireless access point at the other end of the house. how do i configure the remote router?

I guess, you want to connect both routers wirelessly.
Therefore the routers must support WDS (Wireless Distribution System) or Repeater Mode.

You have to check this first.

NO, it's a wired connection... just figured it out myself... turned off DHCP on the remote one, plugged into non-WAN port, and changed the routers IP address to be in the range of the master one... works like a charm!!!
