|We had three switches in our server rack. All from proper UPS power source. One of them started to jam with all lights blinking. Then no network services for the nodes linked from this switch. If reset, then no problem for some time. Then the issue repeats. Item was in warranty. Hence called the service provider. He took the switch and after few days sent me mail that its a case of burnout and such cases are outside warranty.|
I was wondering, when the switch was working when it was took from me, how can a burnout occur? Is he right? please help..
