Specs: MS-DOS 6.22
I need a program that lists the partitions and filesystems on the computer hard drives with no user input, except from being run from the command line (so nothing like run the app, press P and then see it. it has to be run the app and see it) under MS-dos 6.22

fdisk comes with dos though you may need an updated version [download from MS] to read larger drives

hi that wont work with fdisk you have to start it and then
select the drive and press 4 to list the partitions. i need a
program that will just start and with no user input print
out a list of partitions on all drives. thanks

I think you can still do it with FDISK. Do a FDISK /? to get a list of parameter you can run. Check this out....

P.S. Why did you post this here. It would have been better to post it in the programming thread.

akiwiguy you are talking dos 6.22? right? No gui existed. No program other than fdisk exists for dos.

now if you were running a gui [win3.1/9x etc] than that is a different story.
