problem w/ connection (PPPoE Problem)

Specs: Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate, 2.2 GHz / 1789 MB
Hi! can anyone please help me, the problem is that I have subscribe w/ internet connection. I always get disconnected & then my network are hanged-up. And when I "ping" it will prompted "request time out" and "no resources". My PC are hang I have to restart for me to connect again, I have consulted my providers tech, they said that my PC has a virus they advise me to reformat it, I followed their advise, I have reformat my PC twice but still the problem is still the same, please help me regarding this matter, thank you!

Tell us a bit more details on how you connect to the internet.
Things like:
Are you useing a router and if, which router are you using?
Did the internet connection work in the past?
What has been changed right before the problem came up?

my provider is bayantel here in phil, I'm only using a modem, this was only new PC and it was my 1st internet connection, since I brought this PC & subscribe at my provider, I always get disconnected & if I "ping" it display request time out & no resources, my OS is vista ultimate

If I get disconnected my network it hanged and I restart the PC for me get connected again, my provider tech said that my PC has a virus that blocks the PPPoE, ever since i brought this, I have already reformat my PC twice but still the problem are still the same

Check the settings in Start / Control Panel / Internet Options / Connections.
